The course is beautiful, challenging and fair. The staff is top notch and more than happy to point out features(playing extra 9-holes for only $10) and answer any questions you might have. Had high expectations based on other reviews and cost. Course Conditions were average (actually below many of the lower cost courses we played during two week trip). Course design requires skilled shot shaping on many holes, both due to the hole’s routing and the intrusion of trees into the playing corridors. When it comes to resorts, the House on the Rock Resort is an amazing attraction in its own right. There are 27 holes of championship golf created by some of the game’s legendary course designers. It was just sad to see the number of destitute people, in the midst of all that wealth.

I would not miss playing this course. It is exceptional in the fall with the beautiful display of leaf color in the bluffs that surround the course. The weather was perfect and the course equaled.Have played this course over the last 30 years, and found it in the best shape ever. Choose from two different two-room suites.
Strollers cannot be larger than 31″ wide and 52″ long. Stroller Wagons are not permitted.• The House on the Rock is a walking experience that encompasses many ramps, varied surfaces and outdoor areas. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for these conditions.• Guests that are affected by claustrophobia and acrophobia may find a few areas difficult.
Very quiet spacious room with a comfortable bed. The staff at the desk was very helpful and gave us some tips and directions when visiting the city. Would like to get out group of eight to stay and play golf sometime. - 4 p.m., guests will have access to a full buffet, including champagne and mimosas, while sitting either inside the restaurant or outdoors if the weather is nice. Bet as you watch sports live, with LED TVs showing 360 degrees of all the games. You can bet on NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, golf, tennis, auto racing, and more.
